Our volunteer committee keeps Netley Abbey Runners welcoming, organised, and inclusive.

Our committee is made up of volunteers who are passionate about running and supporting our club community. Together, we work to keep things organised, inclusive, and welcoming for everyone — whether you’re lacing up for your first Couch to 5K or training for an ultra.

Gareth Roberts

Chairman
Oversees the running of the club, supports members, and represents NAR at local and regional level. Loves Sunday long runs and cheering everyone on at races.

Edd Biddle

Treasurer
Manages club finances to ensure NAR runs smoothly and sustainably. Known for balancing the books as well as enjoying a good hill session!

Sarah Hughes

Secretary
Handles club admin, keeps records up to date, and makes sure communication runs smoothly. A friendly face at training nights and always ready to answer questions.

Membership
Welcomes new members, processes applications, and helps everyone feel at home in the club. First point of contact for anyone thinking of joining NAR.

Run Co-Ordinator
Organises our training programme, helps with race entries, and supports members in preparing for events. Makes sure sessions are inclusive, safe, and enjoyable.

Welfare Officer
Available for confidential support, ensuring our club remains a safe and supportive environment for all members. Promoting health, wellbeing, and inclusivity.
