CC6 Cross Country League

Winter woodland & parkland races on Sunday mornings — fun, friendly, and free for members.

What is the CC6?

The CC6 League is a series of free winter off-road racesorganised by local running clubs across the south of Hampshire.

Taking place on Sunday mornings from October to March, these events are a friendly and social way to keep active through the colder months.

Races are typically 4–5 miles long and take runners through stunning woodland and countryside trails. Expect mud, laughter, and plenty of post-run smiles!

More Information & Team Spirit

Visit the official CC6 website for the latest fixtures and results.

If you’re new to cross-country or have questions, speak to our CC6 Rep, Abby Michard, who helps coordinate entries and team plans.

How to Take Part

Before your first CC6 event, please make sure you’ve registered your parkrun barcode— this is how your race results are recorded in the CC6 system.
You only need to register once per season, and it’s quick and easy to do.

Remember to take your parkrun barcode number with you to each event — it’s used to check you in at the finish line.  No barcode means no result, so don’t forget it!

Travel and Team Spirit

We make every CC6 event a social outing— from sharing lifts to post-race breakfasts, it’s about connection as much as competition.
Check our social media for event meet-ups, parking details, and car-sharing opportunities.

Stay in the Loop

All CC6 fixtures and updates are posted in the Netley Abbey Runners Members’ Facebook Group.
Mark yourself as “going”to help others plan and make it easier to travel together.

How to Register Your Barcode for CC6

Before your first CC6 race, you’ll need to register your parkrun barcode so your results can be recorded. It only takes a minute — and you only need to do it once per season.

  1. Visit the CC6 registration page (check our members’ Facebook group for updates).
  2. Enter your parkrun barcode number (the one starting with “A”).
  3. Select Netley Abbey Runners as your club.
  4. Submit the form — and you’re all set!

Remember: Bring your barcode number to every CC6 race. It’s how organisers log your result at the finish — no barcode means no result!
