This is a closed road event.

We are aware that there are a few concerns about the road closures that are in place to support this year’s Netley 10K on the 18th of May. Rest assured we are doing our best to limit the impact on residents and anyone visiting the area. We have already been in touch with many local organisations and businesses to plan access where needed to ensure a safe race.

Although our event is advertised as having the roads closed for 2 1/2 hours from 9:00 to 11:30 we do not anticipate road closures will be in place for the entire time. We aim to reopen the roads as soon as the last runners have cleared the space.

Please see below the image with the route, arrows for which direction runners will be running in and the expected reopening times for key points along the route. Although it can't be guaranteed we are hoping to have the roads reopened and back to normal by 11:00 with many of the roads impacted open long before that. This will depend on the runners on the day, we will not keep roads closed for any longer than necessary.

If you still have concerns, please feel free to reach out to Netley Abbey Runners and we will let you know how you can get in contact with one of our race directors directly.

      Post-Race Fun

Make a day of it! After the race, enjoy the beautiful park with your family and friends. The café offers a range of hot and cold drinks, delicious food, or bring a picnic and relax with your clubmates. There will be race day offers after the event in the main café.

The coffee hatch in the chapel will be open from 8:00 for drinks and the main cafe will open from 9:00 offering a range of hot food, drinks and post race snacks.
