At Netley Abbey Runners, our sessions are designed to support and motivate runners of all abilities (as long as you can run 5k) with a mix of social runs and structured training sessions.
We pride ourselves on being all-inclusive, and no matter your pace, there will always be a run leader at the back of the group to ensure no one is left behind.
Not quite at 5k yet? Don’t worry! We regularly host Couch to 5k courses to help you reach your goal. Keep an eye out on our Social Media for updates!

Netley Abbey Runners has a Strava group, and we’d love for you to join! It’s a great way to track your runs, stay motivated, and connect with fellow members outside of club sessions. Whether you're chasing a new PB, exploring new routes, or just enjoying social runs, Strava helps you share your progress, encourage others, and celebrate achievements together.
Join us on Strava and be part of the club both on and off the road!
Please note that safety is a primary concern for all formal club runs. Therefore, please take note of any special instructions the run leader gives at the start of the session.
If you have a niggle, or a condition that you think may affect your abilities, please advise the run leader at the start of the session.
When running at night, please ensure as a minimum that high-visibility clothing or accessories are worn during the sessions. A head/body torch is compulsory.
