The formal run sessions that Netley Abbey Runners hosts are designed to support runners of all abilities (once they can run 5k) and are split between social runs and formal training. We have an all-inclusive policy so regardless of the session, there will typically always be a run leader at the rear of the group to ensure no one is left behind.
If you can not run 5k yet, we often offer Couch to 5k Courses throughout the year to get you to that standard so keep an eye out below. Our next intake is set to be in September 2024.
If you would like to join us for a trial please chose a session from the list below and email membership@netleyabbeyrunners.com to register your interest.

Please note that safety is a primary concern for all formal club runs. Therefore, please take note of any special instructions the run leader gives at the start of the session. If you have a niggle, or a condition that you think may affect your abilities, please advise the run leader at the start of the session. When running at night, please ensure as a minimum that high-visibility clothing or accessories are worn during the sessions. A head/body torch is also strongly advised.
